VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM
Our school offers a comprehensive rehabilitation program which provides functional and vocational training for a variety of disciplines. The programs are flexible and tailored to meet our students’ needs, at school or in the field of work.
Our rehabilitation center offers services to people who are blind, blind with associated disabilities, and deaf.
Upon the successful completion of the training course, our career placement department will help students find suitable jobs and career opportunities.
Follow-up services have shown that, when trained, blind or deaf students become capable, efficient and reliable adults.
Workshops
RATTAN AND BAMBOO
The workshop in our school is where we teach the blind and deaf students the art of caning, basketry, weaving, and chair repairing.
PAINTING, WAX AND CRAFTS
Deaf students view and interact with the world around them with their eyes. The art of drawing and painting enables them to express their feelings and develop skills by using different kinds of materials like watercolor, pastels, acrylic paint etc… while with wax and crafts, the learning process involves their hands to reproduce what their eyes can behold in the nature.
